- I cannot explain
how happy I am that I have this. This is actually the
very first take ever done. I worked out the
chords pretty quick, and wrote a couple verses (I end
up singing the first verse twice in here), and pow I
flipped on the camcorder. This is my "Yesterday". I
knew it the second I played the tape back. This is the
soundtrack for Palaur. This is what plays during the
opening credits. And truly what makes it perfect is
the fact that it describes our situation so well, yet
it can be sung to a baby. I wrote it for
MY situation, and it can relate to others.
I hate when writers try so hard to relate to
others. I've always felt that if it does? Cool. But
how does that help me? I write for me.
I sing for me. Now I can perform for others,
or play for others. But writing feelings and singing
is truly for me and the subject at hand. And not only
do the songs in Palaur show that, they're in many
cases first time recordings as I was writing
them.

- sleep,
baby sleep
- close
your eyes, and know ill
keep,
- all
your fears, far away,
- baby
sleep, baby sleep,
-
- hold
on to me,
- and
surrender all your
dreams,
- i
will guard them for
now,
- so
just sleep baby sleep,
-
- when
you're cold, and youre
scared,
- ill
be bold, ill be
here,
- dont
let go, stay and
grow,
-
- baby
sleep, baby sleep,
- feel
secure, feel so deep,
- lose
yourself, within my
arms,
- and
just sleep, baby sleep,
-
- when
you're cold, and youre
scared,
- ill
be bold, ill be
here,
- dont
let go, stay and
grow,
-
- baby
sleep, baby sleep,
- close
your eyes, and know ill
keep,
- all
your fears, far away,
- baby
sleep, baby sleep...
