Dear John,

I remember see you the the guys on the Ed Sullivan show, i was 5 (Born in 59). but even as a kid, i always keeped my ears & eyes open to Beatles stuff in the news. I also remember wanting to pick up a guitar after that show. Since that night, I've been to Liverpool 9 times, great folks!

I've met many of your mates & even Cynthia. Kissed a girl in the Cavern, (Great memory!!!). I learned alot of you from reading your books & interviews, man, you must have been a gas to hang with.

I'm a Gospel Singer (Have given concerts at the Salvation Army citadel in Liverpool, in Bootle & West Derby) but I also do a Hospital gig where me & a bass player go into hospitals singing songs you & Paul wrote. Man, people get happy & start to dance. For the complete effect I got the boots, grey suits, vox amps & a black rick like someone I know. (Just wanted you to know).

Well I know I rattled on too much but thanks for reading my letter, BTW-Tell Yoko & your boys Hi for me.

Till we meet again, your fan from the big apple that still to this day misses you all too much!!

God bless-Take care mate!!!
