Dear John,

 

I was born 3 days after your tragic death. I often wonder what life was like for you, the fame and fortune that you aquired, it never seemed to make you happy. I fell in love with the beatles at 15 years old and also with you. Your charming persona was all that I saw. I saw past the lies being told about you and the lies about Yoko and I saw you.

 

I cannot say that I knew you, but I can say I long to know you. I know where your are now and I know things will be better for you soon. I often think about Sean and Julian and wonder how they have gotten on without a father. And I wonder what Might have been if you were still alive.

 

I get chills thinking about Yoko and wondering how she really feels today over 20 years since your death. I know the world is not over it.. That is obvious. I feel for Yoko and I pray for her everyday.

 

I want to thank you for what you've done for us, instilling this Love and Peace in my life and the lives of many others.. You live on John. You live on in our hearts.
