Dear sweet John Lennon,

It's been 20 years now since you've departed from this earth, and still there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you. Your life was much too short, but you sure packed in the inspiration for many a lonely soul in your time. I admired everything about you. You took chances, and I for one rooted for you on the sidelines every inch of the way!

You'd be very proud of your dear wife Yoko. She has kept your memory alive all these years. At 67 she is still going strong with the creative juices. And the best thing is, people have realized that she was never the monster everyone made her out to be. Of course you knew that way back when...

Your son Sean appears to be very close to his mother and protects her in his own way. Like dad, he is also a musician and appears to be doing well. Your other son Julian is also beautiful, and has recorded some songs about you that you'd be proud of.

Your music you created is alive and doing well. It will continue, I believe, long after everyone who's living is now gone and beyond.

If I could say anything to you it would be to thank you for giving your all to the world when it was not always very kind for you. You were my hero, my inspiration to feel free to create-to feel free to just breathe.

God bless you John. Love and peace forever,

Debbie Rue
