- Dear
John,
-
-
- My
first memory of you was at the age of 4, the night
you entertained us with your friends (Paul, George
and Ringo) on the Ed Sullivan show. I've been
hooked on your music ever since. I grew up
listening to your music with the Beatles and then
followed your solo career. I waited through the
silent years, as many did, for you to give us more.
Then just as you returned, you were taken away and
we were robbed of your musical genius forever.
-
- However,
you can be proud of what you accomplished in such a
short span of life. The inspirations you have given
to many musicians in the past 20 years, has filled
a little of the void you left behind. Your message
of Peace and Love lives on in their music and in
all of our hearts as well.. I'm lucky enough to
live 15 minutes away from New York City, and John
you should see the multitude of people that come to
your "Strawberry Fields". We come to celebrate your
life. A life that gave so much to us, throughout
the years.
-
- Rest
in peace John, as long as there are fans speaking
your words and playing your music to the new
generations, there will be hope for all of us to
"Live life in Peace". Imagine that!
-
- Love,
-
