I know sometimes it helps to put a positive spin on a negative thought, so

here's one I'm offering. Instead of thinking of yourself as mooching off

Jess and not bringing money in (which I'm sure she doesn't mind anyway,

given how much she supports your dreams), think of it this way: while

she's busy working at Starbucks, you're busy making an investment in the

future. Had you gone to work at Sam Ash, you'd be stuck in the present.

By focusing 100% of your energies on 4tvs (well, maybe not 100%, do save a

little for Jess), you're working your ass off on a medium-to-high risk

investment which, if it pays off in its greatest potential, will allow you

to support Jess in the most extravagant style you wish. Don't limit your

thoughts to the present, man, they can only depress you.

Too weird seeing you on video. Sounds like you are taking the right steps

to get where you need to be. Trust me on how hard it is to get your foot in

some doors. I cold call for a living and from time to time it really sucks.

But then you get a couple of sales and things are better and you are

energized again. I'll look you up when I'm in Pasadena.

The ONE thing that stuck out in MY mind.. and it's just the way I take it, I

don't mean to change the way you took it, and that is (from the last line of

Daryn's letter) where he said: "don't make me come out there..." We (your

supporters) want you to do whatever you have to do to make us WANT to come

out there !!!!

 

I think you are doing the right thing. Get busy.

I am so gald you are going to stop whining about the Sam Ash thing...gawd....

 

Maybe a part time job doing something...anything..working at a pet store..who

cares, that way there is a little more mondy coming in, but it is only 20-30

hours a week. Then you won't feel so guilty about Jess...no not

guilty...just more of a contributor.
